It’s Stat For Stat, Playoff style! Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller argue the pros and cons of each side of the Giants-Packers Wild Card matchup on Sunday. There are some good stat lines on both sides of this one, and predictably, both Pat and Jim are staking claim to the Pickle Fork!
Jim kicked things off with Eli Manning’s advantage over Aaron Rodgers in total wins this season. Pat retaliated with Eli’s 20 turnovers compared to Rodgers’ 11. He then talked about the Pack’s current six-game win streak. Jim responded with the Giants better record against common opponents, specifically the Cowboys and Redskins. Pat pointed out that the team in Green & Gold actually won the head to head matchup this season. From there they touched them all – Ty Montgomery vs. Paul Perkins, Jared Cook vs. Will Tye, Odell vs. Jordy, and a comparison of both defenses.
In the end, both men claimed victory! At least this week Jim is actually picking the team he defended! And “the shades” make their second straight appearance in Stat For Stat.
