All of us here at the Real Football Network are excited to be escaping to the Margaritaville state of mind every Saturday to bring you a unique new content feature called Margaritaville Football. As Jimmy Buffett’s tour traveled across the country this year, production coordinator Heikki Larsen sat down with football personalities to talk sports, music, living the Margaritaville lifestyle and more.
We opened the program a couple weeks ago with former Super Bowl champion coach and current ESPN Monday Night Football analyst Jon Gruden. Last week’s podcast, the 5th in our series (you can link to all of them below) featured Tennessee Titans Head Coach Mike Mularkey. Today, we bring you Coach Mularkey’s starting left tackle, Taylor Lewan.
Lewan is a self-proclaimed free spirit who never shies away from a good time, and he seemed every bit of it during the interview! In a really funny and engaging talk, he and Heikki covered a lot of ground. They talked about his tattoos, the inspiration behind his “Roadhouse/Tombstone” mustache (as described by Heikki), his new fiances, his offseason travels, his love of country music, his transition from growing up in Arizona to seeing his first snowfall in college at Michigan, and his ideal cheeseburger. You don’t want to miss that last piece – we won’t give it all away, but it involves grilled cheese, BLT, and an egg! You’ll have to listen to the podcast to get the whole story – and you can only find it here, exclusively at realfootballnetwork.com.
